Our strategic partner is a leading multinational company specializing in manufacturing electronics and connectors used in data transmission systems. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions.
Location: Long An, Vietnam
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end vendor discovery, assessment, growth process, concentrating specifically on the Chinese market.
- Build and maintain key vendor partnerships to secure the best possible pricing, product standards, and fulfillment times.
- Handle contract and price negotiations, define business terms, and consistently look for ways to lower expenses and add value.
- Work closely with various internal departments to maintain a steady flow of materials that meet the company’s operational needs.
- Track vendor metrics, perform regular facility checks, and handle any problems regarding product defects, shipping delays, or vendor disputes.
- Guide and train the sourcing staff, track industry shifts, and create regular sourcing reports for the leadership team.
Yêu cầu công việc
- A degree or diploma in Global Business, Supply Chain, Economics, International Trade, or a similar field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of background in sourcing, purchasing or procurement, ideally dealing directly with vendors in China. Prior management or team lead experience is an advantage.
- Mandatory fluency in Mandarin, paired with excellent abilities in communication, striking deals, analyzing business agreements.
- Solid understanding of Chinese manufacturing hubs, global trade regulations, vendor administration.
- Excellent ability to analyze data, solve problems, organize tasks. Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiar with enterprise software (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
